Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lawspeaker (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

2. The Service

Lawspeaker is an automated pre-flight compliance checking service for advertising campaigns. You submit campaign details via our API, and the Service returns a compliance verdict based on the advertising platform policies and jurisdiction rules it has indexed.

Verdicts are informational. The Service does not guarantee that a campaign will be approved or rejected by any advertising platform, and a verdict does not constitute legal advice.

3. Accounts and API Keys

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity performed with them. Revoke any key you believe has been compromised. You may not share account credentials or resell access to the Service without written permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to violate any law, to probe or disrupt our infrastructure, to exceed the rate limits or usage caps of your plan, or to build a competing compliance service on top of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service.

5. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor. Usage caps reset each billing cycle. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights in the campaigns and content you submit. We retain all rights in the Service, including the policy rules and rule engine. You grant us a limited license to process your submissions solely to operate the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Policy databases change frequently; verdicts reflect the policy data available at evaluation time only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
